Though his interests lie primarily in the field of Liaison Psychiatry, he has received equal commendation in almost all fields of Psychiatry, including Dementia, Neuropsychiatry, Depression, Parkinson’s Disease, Alcohol Brain Damage, Epilepsy, Sleep Apnoea, and Autoimmune Encephalitis.

A determined powerhouse throughout his career, Dr Bangar attained a glorious 2nd rank in MD Psychiatry from the University of Mumbai, India before proceeding to the University of Leeds in the UK, which awarded him a Diploma in Clinical Psychiatry with merit. He further solidified his academic accomplishments through a Fellowship in Liaison Psychiatry and a Certificate in Old Age Psychiatry from prestigious institutes in the UK.

Dr Bangar contributed significantly to the field of research through multiple papers on Geriatric Psychiatry and Neuropsychiatry, published in prominent international journals such as the British Journal of Medical Practitioners, International Journal of Geriatric Psychiatry, and Functional Neurology.
